On behalf of the Scientific and Organizational Committee, we have the great pleasure and honor to invite you to participate in the:

XII International Symposium
Nursing the foundation of care. Innovative solutions in nursing

that will take place in the capital of Podkarpacie – Rzeszów on September 26-27, 2019.

The Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences of the University of Rzeszów for the third time is the co-organizer of the symposium started in 2002 by prof. Valerie Tothova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the South Bohemian University in Czeskie Budejowice.

Annual symposia from 2008 in successive cooperating universities educating nurses: Department of Health and Social Sciences of the South Bohemian University in Czech Budejowice (Czech Republic), Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care of the University of Philosopher Constantine in Nitra (Slovakia), Faculty of Health, University of Debrecen (Hungary ), The Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences of the University of Rzeszów is an example of integration of the scientific and professional environment of nurses from the Visegrad Group countries.

The motto of this year’s Symposium – „Nursing the foundation of care. Innovative solutions in nursing” fits perfectly into current activities for the development of nursing. These include system solutions, including activities for the development of high-quality professional practical training in mono and multi-profile simulation centers. The development of new technologies in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring of health and the introduction of IT techniques to health care are already everyday in the professional work of nurse/ professional professionals.

The conference topics will be an opportunity for discussion among leaders and professionals, establishing closer relationships and support in activities for the development of nursing education, scientific research and new professional competences.

We would like to invite you to Rzeszów, the capital of Podkarpacie innovation, wishing that the stay would result in deepening knowledge, establishing contacts, and letting us see the advantages of south-eastern Poland.
